💭Comme prévu, ce livre est devenu un vrai coup de cœur ❤️
Je ne savais pas que c’était la suite d’un autre livre de l’autrice, mais pour être honnête, je n’ai pas eu de difficulté à suivre l’histoire, puisqu’il met en avant un autre personnage principal.

J’ai beaucoup aimé les différents points de vue, ainsi que les timelines alternatives. Cette histoire est vraiment émouvante, entre les hauts et les bas que traversent Liz et les autres personnages de « Ce que les étoiles doivent à la nuit ».

Je ne voulais même pas que cette belle histoire s’arrête, tant j’ai aimé découvrir le parcours de Liz et la voir évoluer ✨

Dommage que je n’aie pas pu goûter ce qu’elle a préparé tout au long de l’histoire 😜

2025 was a mixed bag. Reading wasn't on point, but at least I have memories that I will remember forever 🥰.

After facing tough times with 2 losses in my family, we celebrated life with my wedding. Now I'm looking forward to 2026, hoping it'll be the year I dive back into books 🙈 and enjoy some well-deserved calm after no more wedding planning.

I’m having a severe reaction to my allergies and even had to take a sick day today because of a very bad fever which frankly didn’t make my day 😅 But on the bright side I’ve managed to finish my book and oh my gosh I’m still speechless. Riley Sager did it again 😍
“The only one left” was definitely a fantastic read and every single time when I was sure to know what’s really going on, the author went and did a complete twist that made me gasp! The suspense was most certainly there and it made me even forget my constant coughing and sneezing 😂

I’ve just finished « City of Lost Souls » by Cassandra Clare and I have mixed feelings about this one. For those of you who are following me on Goodreads you already know the rating that I gave this one: 3.5 🌟
.
This installment for sure took the story to an even more darker place and setting than the last book. We are capable of seeing the struggle when it comes to love and loyalty and also the consequences about pas choices. Yep, I’m eyeing Clary in regards of Jace. IYKYK. 😅
.
The pacing and writing however felt a bit odd for me though. I felt that this book dragged on and on and that it took so long before the real action kicked in. However the author still managed to catch me with the atmosphere and especially the banter!
.
In short this hasn’t been my favourite in the series but I still loved continuing my way through the series.

💭 My thoughts:

I really enjoyed my time reading this great sapphic enemies to Lovers retelling and just couldn’t get enough of the story. I absolutely loved the setting of the book and the dark academia game came out strong!

“The Society for Soulless Girls” is the perfect horror read for Halloween that I can highly recommend if you loved “The Grimrose Girls” and “Jekyll & Hyde”.

Ich habe gestern Abend noch das neueste Buch von Tami Fischer beendet und das einzige was ich dazu sagen kann ist WOW! Was für ein Buch! Ich bin auf jeden Fall überzeugt von diesem ersten Teil und kann es kaum erwarten, Band 2 in den Händen zu halten. Ich hab diesen Band sogar heute Morgen vorbestellt 😂 Ich konnte einfach nicht anders vor allem nach dem Cliffhanger. Der war wirklich ultrafies 😭😂

In diesem ersten Teil, sieht Sarah rot. Ihre Zwillingsschwester Payton kommt nach einem Jahr Funkstille, komplett zerstört nach San Francisco zurück. Sarah erkennt ihre Schwester kaum wieder und möchte denen das Handwerk legen, welche ihre Schwester so misshandelt haben. Sarah gibt sich also als Payton aus und lebt das Leben ihrer Zwillingsschwester weiter. Allerdings läuft nichts nach Plan und Sarah weiß nicht mehr was sie noch glauben kann. Und dann trifft sie auf den gut aussehenden Monroe und weiß, dass dieser ihr und ihren Plänen gefährlich werden kann.

I’m officially back from my Amsterdam City trip, so it’s time to show you my read on this journey. On my train ride, I read the first book of the Bridgerton series by Julia Quinn, and I immensely enjoyed my time. For those of you who know me personally, you probably know that I loved the TV adaptation with Shonda Rhimes as an executive producer, and I seriously can’t get enough of the Bridgerton Family😅
.
So, in this 1st book, we follow Daphne Bridgerton, the oldest girl in the family and the fourth child. She meets her brother’s best friend, Duke Simon Basset, and there is a spark between these two, even though it’s forbidden terrain. Simon made a promise to Daphne’s brother not to touch her, and he made a vow to himself to never get married. However, as the single young women on the ton want to become a duchess or, to be more precise, their mothers want this life for them, he needs an exit route soon. Daphne, on the other hand, doesn’t want to get married to a man of the ton who she won’t be able to love, and soon they decide to make a pact to fake their “relationship”. We all know by now that this arrangement will not work well, which means a lot of drama. And we are here for the drama! 😄
.
I especially love the relationship between the Bridgerton siblings, their witty banter and how everyone has each other's back. The relationship between Daphne and Simon is also exceptional, even though, towards the end, we’ve reached a very problematic passage, which is why this book wasn’t a 5-star read for me. However, the writing style was fluid, and I flew through the story. It was delightful to read, and if you are a fan of the TV show, you have to try this first book.

“Gossip Girl” definitely meets “One of Us is Lying” in this thrilling new read by Jessica Goodman.
.
I’ve just finished reading “The Legacies” by Jessica Goodman and oh boy I absolutely loved this YA Mystery novel! 🤩 It kept me on the edge of my seat and I just couldn’t put this book out of my hands. “The Legacies” is a fast-paced mystery novel written in multiple P.O.Vs which makes the whole thing even more intriguing because you won’t know what really happened, despite my multiple guessing efforts until ~80%.
I can highly recommend this novel to all of you mystery lovers out there!
