Today I’m back with a bookish review as you can see above 🥰 I had lots of fun reading this book and really enjoyed my time.

💭 Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟
A Taste of Limoncello was such an addictive read. It’s told in dual POV and tells us how Ava and Dax really feel, especially about each other 😜

This story strikes a nice balance between sweet and spicy and you can really feel the tension between our two MCs. As the story was partially set in Italy, the author also managed to make the whole reading experience feel like an escape from reality.

If you’re looking for something that’s sweet and spicy at the same time I can only recommend reading « A taste of Limoncello » 🍋

I’ve been thinking a lot about the Monsters of Verity Duology recently and just had to share these with you. I’ve read the Duology back in the day when the books first came out and I am still not over what happened. 😭 Why did you do this to me V.E Schwab? 😭😅

But on a more serious note: READ THIS DUOLOGY! Your heart will probably break but it is about monsters and their hunters so what else do you need to be happy? Definitely no heart and soul🤣 What are you waiting for? Go read it! and believe me you won’t be disappointed.

Dark Urban Fantasy about a divided city where you can find real monsters. Kate and August, our main protagonists couldn’t be any more different as one has to hunt the other and the monster amongst them wants nothing more than to become human or at least feel like it.

I’ve finished “Something Fabulous” by Alexis Hall a few hours ago and really enjoyed this read. I’ve borrowed it on Kindle Unlimited so for those of you that are interested feel free to check this book out!

📑 - “I am, however,” Valentine continued, “uncertain that I’ll fit through the window.” Bonny’s fingers flickered, entirely unconcerned. “Of course you’ll fit. You’ll just have to wriggle a bit.” Valentine was about to explain, in no uncertain terms, that he did not wriggle.

“Something Fabulous” is a witty and very entertaining queer read. I just couldn’t stop laughing at some passages and quite liked the writing of the author.

Ich habe diese Reihe damals angefangen, als sie veröffentlicht wurde und habe sie geliebt 😍 So viel, dass ich Band 3 überhaupt erst nicht lesen wollte, da ich mit Ruby und James einfach nicht abschließen wollte. 😭
.
Save Us wollte ich genauso lieben wie seine beiden Vorgänger, leider war das nicht der Fall. Das Buch hat mir trotz allem gut gefallen, dennoch gab es für mich einfach viel zu viele Längen. Schlussendlich denke ich, dass zwei Bände komplett gereicht hätten, da nicht mehr viel neues in “Save Us” passiert ist. Lydia und ihre Tante Ophelia haben mir in diesem Band am besten gefallen und ich finde es ehrlich gesagt etwas schade, dass Lydia keine eigene Geschichte bzw. kein eigenes Buch bekommen hat. Da gibt es sicherlich noch etwas Potenzial 😁

Monas Schreibstil hat mir wie immer gefallen und ich werde auch weiterhin ihre restlichen Werke lesen.

Good evening Bookstagram 🥰

I’ve just finished « City of Lost Souls » by Cassandra Clare and I have mixed feelings about this one. For those of you who are following me on Goodreads you already know the rating that I gave this one: 3.5 🌟
.
This installment for sure took the story to an even more darker place and setting than the last book. We are capable of seeing the struggle when it comes to love and loyalty and also the consequences about pas choices. Yep, I’m eyeing Clary in regards of Jace. IYKYK. 😅
.
The pacing and writing however felt a bit odd for me though. I felt that this book dragged on and on and that it took so long before the real action kicked in. However the author still managed to catch me with the atmosphere and especially the banter!
.
In short this hasn’t been my favourite in the series but I still loved continuing my way through the series.

How are we doing today? I just finished the second book in the Dreamland Billionaires series and I quite enjoyed my reading journey 😍

The first book in this trilogy will still be my favourite 🤩 I just loved Rowan and Zahra are just my fave bookish couple! However, I must say that Declan and Iris aren’t too bad either. I especially loved their banter and how they got in this mess in the first place 😆 Let’s start the third book ASAP.

Hi Booksta 🥰

I’ve started to enjoy cozy mysteries these past few years and I must say that “The Thursday Murder Club” by Richard Osman has become my favorite one so far. It was really entertaining to see these elderly people solving a murder case with real professionals whilst being a tad bit more intelligent than the detectives. I couldn’t even say who my favorite character was because the members of the club were all very loveable 🥰
.
Osman managed to make me feel at home with his book and I can’t wait to start the next book in this series! Now I just need to decide whether I’m continuing it in German or in English.

Today I finished the second book in the “Twisted” series by Ana Huang and os far it’s definitely my favourite book in the series 😍
.
However with this book (same goes for all of the other ones) you need to pay attention to the trigger warnings. So if you’re triggered by child abuse and/or drug use (just to name a few) you have to be aware that those topics are mentioned in the book and not only once!
