I haven’t read the first one in this series and I had no trouble at all to follow the story. Both books I’m reviewing in this series can be read as standalones.
“Tangled in Jasmine” delivers all the feelings and definitely had me hooked from the beginning. 😍
.
It is full of emotional tension and of course a messy history between our main characters. As the story is written in dual POV you will get to experience the heartbreak and their feelings even more.
.
I felt like I was part of the tour and secretly fell like a fangirl especially over the love story.
This was for sure nearly impossible to put down. 🤭
.
📚Amber eyes and alibis review:

The third book was even more of a rollercoaster. “Amber Eyes and Alibis” dives into trauma and the love between Jasmine, who was once a fangirl, and the rockstar Jonathan. In my opinion there was a lot of soulmate energy out there and their chemistry felt so real. This story really showed whether or not our main characters were meant for each other. Be ready for the spice 😜🤭

💭Comme prévu, ce livre est devenu un vrai coup de cœur ❤️
Je ne savais pas que c’était la suite d’un autre livre de l’autrice, mais pour être honnête, je n’ai pas eu de difficulté à suivre l’histoire, puisqu’il met en avant un autre personnage principal.

J’ai beaucoup aimé les différents points de vue, ainsi que les timelines alternatives. Cette histoire est vraiment émouvante, entre les hauts et les bas que traversent Liz et les autres personnages de « Ce que les étoiles doivent à la nuit ».

Je ne voulais même pas que cette belle histoire s’arrête, tant j’ai aimé découvrir le parcours de Liz et la voir évoluer ✨

Dommage que je n’aie pas pu goûter ce qu’elle a préparé tout au long de l’histoire 😜

I’ve been thinking a lot about the Monsters of Verity Duology recently and just had to share these with you. I’ve read the Duology back in the day when the books first came out and I am still not over what happened. 😭 Why did you do this to me V.E Schwab? 😭😅

I’m having a severe reaction to my allergies and even had to take a sick day today because of a very bad fever which frankly didn’t make my day 😅 But on the bright side I’ve managed to finish my book and oh my gosh I’m still speechless. Riley Sager did it again 😍
“The only one left” was definitely a fantastic read and every single time when I was sure to know what’s really going on, the author went and did a complete twist that made me gasp! The suspense was most certainly there and it made me even forget my constant coughing and sneezing 😂

I read “Happy Place” by Emily Henry a while ago and absolutely loved it. It is even one of my favourite reads, and I couldn’t get enough of this book. 😍

In “Happy Place” we follow Harriet, a young woman who spends every summer in a Holiday House with her friends. They’re always staying a whole week. However, this year is going to be a little bit different. It will be their last year at their so-called Happy Place, and Harriet isn’t engaged anymore. But this is a piece of information that no one is aware of. Not even her best friends. To top all of this. Wyn (her ex-fiancé) will also be present at the Holiday House, which is why both of them pretend to still be engaged and they fake their feelings. But will their show be enough to convince their friends that nothing is wrong?

“Happy Place” was such a cute and fun read and a perfect summer read. However, be prepared to have a box of tissues next to you because you’ll probably need those while reading this wonderful book.

💭My thoughts:
I loved reading “Remember me” by KJ Pointer and was absolutely invested in Lotties and Jakes story 😍
The contrast between the introverted FMC and the very confident hockey star was done well. I also appreciated the fact that Jake never gave up on Lottie even when both of their worlds fell apart. He always showed up for her.

This book deals with a lot! It is an emotional rollercoaster dealing with the loss of parents, lots of grief and even panic attacks. So be aware of all of those things in case they might be triggering for you.
.
The writing was easy to get into, the chapters had the perfect length and it was quickly paced. I really flew through this. If you love a good and emotional sports romance between childhood best friends, the you should definitely give “Remember me” a try 🥰

How are we doing today? I just finished the second book in the Dreamland Billionaires series and I quite enjoyed my reading journey 😍

The first book in this trilogy will still be my favourite 🤩 I just loved Rowan and Zahra are just my fave bookish couple! However, I must say that Declan and Iris aren’t too bad either. I especially loved their banter and how they got in this mess in the first place 😆 Let’s start the third book ASAP.

The Boyfriend by Freida McFadden is the second book that I’ve read by this author and again I wasn’t disappointed. You could even say that these plot twists made me mad. 😭 Every time that I thought that I’ve figured out who the bad guy was, the author managed to prove me wrong 😅.
