Synopsis:

I’ve finished “Something Fabulous” by Alexis Hall a few hours ago and really enjoyed this read. I’ve borrowed it on Kindle Unlimited so for those of you that are interested feel free to check this book out!

“Something Fabulous” is a witty and very entertaining queer read. I just couldn’t stop laughing at some passages and quite liked the writing of the author.

This was a great summer read. Caleb and Marnie have really good chemistry and I was rooting so much for a happy ending because how can you not? They were so cute together! I Getting both of their perspectives through the dual POV made the whole story feel so much deeper and sweeter.
If you want a beach read then give “On Island Time” a try! 🥰

💭 Bloodstone is a story full of archaeology, hidden societies, and treasure hunts, where our FMC is being hunted by Nazis. It’s also a historical romance/fantasy fiction novel.

Mel, our FMC, is suddenly thrown into a dangerous hunt involving dark ancient magic, fascists, and secrets connected to her past.
.
I absolutely loved the setting and the action scenes. I also liked that the romance was a true slow burn and didn’t become the sole focus of the book.
.
The only part I didn’t enjoy as much was the pacing of the story itself. Personally, I found it a bit slow at times, but that’s just my own perspective.

Good evening Bookstagram, how are we feeling today ? 🥰
I’m definitely back in the reading game and out of the reading slump so yay 🥳 Which is why I’ve finished yet another book yesterday.
.
Twisted Hate is the third book in the Twisted series and like the 2 other books this one didn’t disappoint either. With this book we had the perfect enemies to lovers story and oh boy some of these scenes were 🥵 Be aware of the trigger warnings because this read was definitely not an easy one. Be it in terms of degradation or even the background story of Jules. So if you don’t feel at ease with some of the themes happening in the book, it might be better to just skip this one.
.
We also get to see a lot of the previous couples which was fun.
.
Twisted Hate wasn’t my favorite one in the series so it clearly didn’t manage to throw Twisted Games of its throne but I enjoyed reading Jules and Josh’s love story.

Today I’m back with a new post about my recent reads. If you’ve already seen the Instagram story from yesterday you probably already know that I’ve finished “Under one roof” by Ali Hazelwood.

This story was a cute enemies to lovers novella and the first part in the steminist series. After the passing of Liam’s aunt and Mara’s mentor, both have to live together and let’s just say that none of them wants to live with the other let alone share the same house. Until sparks start to fly.
.
Unfortunately, this wasn’t my favorite book by Ali Hazelwood and the steamy scenes left me uncomfortable to be honest. I just found them a bit too cringe 😅

Hello Bookstagram 🥰 This post will be in 🇩🇪 only as it’s a german reading copy that I received when I was still a bookseller a few months ago.

Vor ein paar Minuten hab ich “Honesty” von Franzi Kopka gelesen und WTF 😳 ich hab dieses Buch so gesuchtet und einfach nicht genug davon bekommen!
Wir befinden uns in einer Welt, in der Lügen der Vergangenheit angehören und jeder nur die Wahrheit sagt. Emotionen werden ebenfalls nicht mehr geduldet, bzw. nur jene die einen unbedacht handeln lassen. Allerdings empfindet unsere Protagonistin Mae leider auch jene Emotionen welche sie eigentlich gar nicht mehr fühlen dürfte. So versucht Mae so gut sie kann nicht aufzufallen und vor allem nicht aufzufliegen, denn ihr Geheimnis ist lebensgefährlich. Wäre da nur nicht dieser attraktive Typ, der sie jedes Mal zur Weißglut bringt.

Das Buch ist am 28.02.2024 im Sauerländer Verlag erschienen also auf was warter ihr noch? Ihr müsst dieses Buch einfach lesen. Vor allem dieser Cliffhänger wird mich in den Wahnsinn treiben, weil es den 2.Band noch nicht gibt 😭 Deswegen will ich nicht alleine leiden müssen 😂
