Hello, everyone today I’m writing my very first unboxing post! It’s the second box I’m trying out and the first box of FairyLoot! I have to say that I was super excited to get this one and holy moly, I wasn’t disappointed by it! FairyLoot is a monthly bookish subscription box. I am not subscribed but I am purchasing every two months a box. As a student, I simply cannot afford a subscription every month. One box cost 26£. If you want to know more about the company check out their website! What am I even waiting for? Let’s start with this unboxing! (And I know I’m late!)
#1 – Exclusive High Warlock Candle by In the Wick of Time
The first item in this box is a candle. I love candles! I never use them but they are great for decorations! Don’t you think? So this one smells amazing! It is inspired by Magnus Bane in The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare. I still have to read a Cassandra Clare book. If you got the September box you can also buy the exclusive full-size version of this one. One of their candles is 17.00£ and you can find their website here.
#2 – Exclusive Rattle The Stars Beanie by Reverie and Ink
The next item is something I’m really excited for. A beanie. You can’t have enough beanies in your house. You just can’t! Apparently, FairyLoot included a Beanie for the first time in their box. It has been designed by Reverie And Ink and is inspired by Celaena from the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J.Maas. You can find Reverie And Ink online: Society 6 & on Etsy.
#3 – Exclusive Nonsense Tote Bag by Miss Phi
The third item in this wonderful box is a Tote Bag created by Miss Phi. It is inspired by Will Herondale from The Infernal Devices Series, also by Cassandra Clare. I really like the tote bag. Well, I like Tote Bags in general but it’s my first one that’s so pretty! You can find Miss Phi on Society 6
#4 – Exclusive Bad Ideas Notepad by Alexis Lampley
Another item I love is the Notepad designed by Alexis Lampley. It was inspired by Nikolai Lantsov from the Grisha Trilogy by Leigh Bardugo. Another trilogy I have yet to read. Alexis Lampley can be found on Society 6.
#5 – Hot Chocolate for Sassy Demi-Gods by Brontie & Co.
I already tried this item and I have to say I’m not a big fan of hot chocolate. This one has definitely another scent than the usual hot chocolates you find at the market but it is not bad. And you have a hot drink for many weeks with this one. This is a vegan hot chocolate and was made by Brontie & Co, it is inspired by Percy Jackson from the Percy Jackson series. You can find Brontie & Co’s shop here
#6 – Exclusive Solemnly Swear Magnet by Ink and Wonder Designs
I squealed when I saw this magnet. It has the quote from the Weasley twins on it and I love it! This has been created by Ink and Wonder Designs. You can find their shop here
#7 – Prints by Taratjah
These Prints are really stunning. Carswell Thorne from the Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer and Delilah Bard from Shades of Magic by V.E. Schwab. Go and check out Taratjah’s shop over at Society 6, it’s amazing!
#8 – Even The Darkest Stars by Heather Fawcett
The last item in this book is, of course, the book: Even the Darkest Stars by Heather Fawcett. I haven’t heard much about it before but I’m really excited to read it. There was also a signed bookplate and a letter from the author included.
Synopsis from GoodReads:
Kamzin has always dreamed of becoming one of the emperor’s royal explorers, the elite climbers tasked with mapping the wintry, mountainous Empire and spying on its enemies. She knows she could be the best in the world, if only someone would give her a chance.
But everything changes when the mysterious and eccentric River Shara, the greatest explorer ever known, arrives in her village and demands to hire Kamzin—not her older sister, Lusha, as everyone had expected—for his next expedition. This is Kamzin’s chance to prove herself—even though River’s mission to retrieve a rare talisman for the emperor means cimbing Raksha, the tallest and deadliest mountain in the Aryas. Then, Lusha sets off on her own mission to Raksha with a rival explorer, and Kamzin must decide what’s most important to her: protecting her sister from the countless perils of the climb or beating her to the summit.
The challenges of climbing Raksha are unlike anything Kamzin expected—or prepared for—with avalanches, ice chasms, ghosts, and other dangers at every turn. And as dark secrets are revealed, Kamzin must unravel the truth about their mission and her companions—while surviving the deadliest climb she has ever faced.

Love this! Unforts I wasn’t quick enough for the September box but I did manage to grab an October box and I got an email to say it’s been shipped today!
That’s cool that you managed to get an October one. I skipped that one but I’ll get the November box 🙂
great job, at posting this
Thanks! 🙂
your welcome
I adored the beanie! And the tote!
I was craving hot chocolate the day before yesterday and wanted to try the one from this box, but somehow the smell put me off completely so I ended up using something else to make it, haha. I’ll give it another shot some day!
Got myself a subscription a couple of months back; this way I simply get all the boxes without having to stress over ordering one on time. I’ve heard a couple of people being disappointed when the last box sold out so quickly..
Looking forward to the next box! 😀
I tried the hot chocolate yesterday and I have to say the smell wasn’t my thing either. I’m looking forward to the November box as I’m always skipping a month. I’m so glad I got one 😀
I can imagine! Loads of people got disappointed. Glad you’re not one of them. 😀
