# What I liked

First of all, like on nearly every review of mine, I really liked loved the characters! They were all so funny, relatable and real! Like every college student is in real life. Being in my second semester of uni (I should already be on my 6th but hey I wanted to do something different) I felt that I could identify with Cath! I’m writing Fanfiction, I’m really shy (or should I say that I’m more of an introvert?) and I don’t really like to talk to strangers. When I can recognize myself in a character I’m pretty sure that I’ll like the novel. So it was no surprise to me, that I gave this book a pretty good rating.

Another great thing about this book is the Fanfiction! As I’ve mentioned above, I’m also writing Fanfic. So I found it a pretty cool fact that Fanfiction was mentioned in Fangirl. And it’s also the first contemporary book that I’ve read where this “genre” is mentioned.

# What I disliked

Even though I didn’t give Fangirl a 5-star rating there’s nothing that I disliked!

# Favourite Character

Levi!!!!!! Do I have to say more? NOPE! Levi is amazing and I want more Levi!!!

Fangirl was a fast-paced read and a great introduction to Rainbow Rowell’s work. I have laughed a lot during this book and I could relate to all the characters pretty well. Contemporary may not be my favourite genre but I was definitely amazed by this book. I’d recommend it to every contemporary lover.
