Hello everyone and welcome back to the blog. Today I‘m back with a tag which is long overdue! The I should have read that book tag. I‘ve seen this tag here a while ago on Adrianna‘s blog and thought why not!
And now without further ado, let‘s start!

#1 – A book that a certain friend is always telling you to read
Well, there are a lot of books I should read then. But I think the most prominent one is The Handmaid‘s Tale. But I‘m so scared to start that one! What should I do?

#2 – A book that’s been on your TBR forever and yet you still haven’t picked it up
There are also a few of these. I would say The Hobbit. I‘ve picked it up a few times but never managed to get past page 1. Please don‘t tell me that I‘m the only one with the struggle? There have to be others? I took it with me to Strasbourg as I‘m doing my exchange semester there. But now it still looks at me desperately. I don‘t know what to do!

#3 – A book in a series you’ve started, but haven’t gotten round to finishing yet
That‘s actually an easy one! Nevernight! I‘m still not done with that book and I have absolutely no clue why? Because the book is amazing. But I can‘t manage to finish the goddamn book!
#4 – A classic you’ve always liked the sound of, but never actually read
All of them?

#5 – A popular book that it seems everyone but you has read
I guess that I have a lot of these on my TBR. I‘m always late to the party. ALWAYS! But I‘d say On the Come Up. I bought it immediately when it came out but I‘ve never got the chance to read it. I hope however, that I will be able to read it soon!
#6 – A book that inspired a film/TV adaptation that you really love, but you just haven’t read it yet
That‘s a difficult question because I think that I‘ve read the books before the adaptation? So I honestly can‘t think of one.
#7 – A book you see all over Instagram but haven’t picked up yet
It‘s not one book but my feed is always full of Shadowhunter books for the moment. And if it‘s not Shadowhunters it‘s the Harry Potter series.
And that‘s everything for this post. Consider yourself tagged if you want to do this one. I promise it was a lot of fun!

Never heard of this tag! What a great idea! Thank you for sharing x
omg I freaking love this tag. I can’t get into any classics so I’m with you on that. Never read them and even when they were assigned, I didn’t read them. Sparknotes for the win, tbh.
I kind of want to read classics but I‘m also intimidated by them. You know what I mean? What if I don‘t like it? I had to read some german classics and most of them weren‘t my cup of tea. So I‘m so scared to read English classics!
I have the same thing with the Hobbit. I don’t know what it is. I just can’t get past the first page 🙁
I picked it up 5 times already. Maybe it is because the writing style is a bit different? I honestly don’t know what my problem with this book is 😅 but I’m glad that I’m not the only one
Yeah it might be that. I have never actually read LOTR either and have tried many times as well. whoops…
