What I liked
First of all, I have to say that this was such a beautiful and heartbreaking story. The How & the Why isnโt a book I would usually pick as it is centered mostly on family issues, which isnโt really my thing. This book managed however to make me change my opinion as it was so emotional!
The writing style was perfect! The readers could read from the perspective of our main character Cass and from the perspective of her biological mother S. And this thanks to the letters that she wrote to her while she was still an unborn baby.
I also liked the fact that there were small chapters in the book which means that you canโt stop reading the book and even if you manage to do just that your fingers are aching to continue reading. It was also fast-paced so you wonโt encounter any problems to start reading it!
And last but not least, this book is perfection. READ IT!!!
What I didnโt like
I didnโt want it to end! Why did it have to end? WHY?!

Overall, The How & the Why is an emotional read that shows both sides of an adoption. If you havenโt read something like this before I highly recommend you to pick this book up!
