Hello everyone and welcome back to the blog! How are you all? I hope that you’re all feeling great.
Today I’m back with a monthly wrap-up for you and as always I’m late! You’ll probably know the excuse by now: University! But to defend myself, I’m having my finals right now. So therefore I did not have the time to upload this post before. How about you? Are you busy with work, university or simply life?
And because this is my first post of the new year 2020, I wish you all the best for the new year.

I hope your year started in a great way! Mine started with the flu. Yay!
And now without further ado, let’s start with this post!

#1 – Offline by Arno Strobel – paperback – 368 pages – 5 stars – Review to come – German book
This is a book that I wanted to read since it got released a few months ago. And it is honestly such a creepy novel about people that suddenly start to get murdered in a resort that is still in its renovation phase. I won’t get into any more details as the book hasn’t been translated yet and I don’t even know if it will get translated anytime soon.
#2 – The Maze Runner by James Dashner – ebook – 384 pages – 4 stars – Review coming soon
I wanted to read this one for ages now and I finally managed to do so in December. It did not disappoint but it also didn’t quite meet the requirements I had of it. I kind of wanted more, I guess. Now I just need to finish the series so that I can finally watch the movie! And also just because of Dylan O’Brien.
#3 – November 9 by Colleen Hoover – ebook – 320 pages – 4 stars – Review to come
This is my very first book by Hoover and I kind of liked it. I gave it a 4 star rating so I have to like it, obviously. I heard so many mixed reviews of this author, that I was kind of afraid to start reading any books by her but I have to say that I like her writing style.
This means that I’ve read 3 books in total in December which is honestly not great. But I’ve been in a slump so that explains everything. This makes however a total of 1072 pages. I’ve read 2 ebooks and 1 paperback.

I won’t be talking about the TV Shows because I completely forgot to keep track. I’m so sorry for that!

And now let’s move on to the podcasts. I listened to a lot as well! Podcasts kind of help me to destress. I love to listen to them before I go to sleep and I always make sure to have some podcasts downloaded on Spotify so that I can listen them on the run. And because silly me is too tired you’ll also see some podcasts that I listened to this week. But I’m too lazy to delete them again so they’ll stay on the December list.
Without further ado, let’s start with the podcasts that I listened to!

#2 – Die Diagnose – Episode: 1 – german podcast

Oh no, the flu? Hope you are feeling better? My Mum has it at the moment so am trying to keep me and my son away (we both had flu jabs though!)
Yeah unfortunately I had the flu. But I’m starting to get better. Thank you! 🙂 I hope your mother gets better soon!
I should have gotten a flu jab as well but I’m always getting an allergic reaction afterwards so I thought I should skip this time. Well, I shouldn’t have. Lesson learned!
Glad your feeling better.
I’ve never had the jab before but me and my son were diagnosed with an auto immune condition and advised to have it….
Happy new year Phannie! And…that’s a lot of podcasts!
Thank you 🙂 Happy New Year to you too! Yes, I like listening to them before going to sleep. Especially the True Crime Podcasts because they are so interesting.
