Today is another day for a Down the TBR Hole. I should definitely be more consistent with that posting schedule. Don’t you think?

The Down the TBR meme was created by Lia (Lost in a Story). Unfortunately, her blog isn’t online anymore.

You’re probably wondering how this works but it’s actually pretty easy:

  • Go to your Goodreads to-read shelf.
  • Order on ascending date added.
  • Take the first 5 or 10 books (or even more if you’re feeling motivated enough). And of course, if you’re doing this weekly you’ll start where you left off the week before. 
  • Read the synopses of the books.
  • Decide: keep it or toss it! 

And now without further ado, let’s do this!

This just doesn’t work for me anymore I guess. So it will have to go!

I’ve wanted to read this book for ages now! It sounds so interesting. This means that it will have to stay!

#5 – Ronit & Jamil – Pamela L.Laskin – Link to Goodreads

THIS is definitely not my type of book. I don’t read verse/poetry so it will go!

#6 – The Handmaid’s Tale – Margaret Atwood – Link to Goodreads

Please don’t yell at me! I know I should have read this one ages ago! I promise I will.

#7 – Brain on Fire: My Month of Madness – Susannah Cahalan – Link to Goodreads

This sounds like a very interesting memoir. So it will stay on the shelf!

I liked her other books so I’m sure that I will like this one as well!

#9 – Hidden Figures – Margot Lee Shetterly – Link to Goodreads

I’ve never watched the movie nor have I read the book but I definitely should.

#10 – The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet – Becky Chambers – Link to Goodreads

I wanted to read this one last year. But I actually never managed. So hopefully this year will be the year!

Well I’m obviously keeping this book. Because I should read it, right?

I wanted to read this book also for ages. Why am I so bad at reading books?

I don’t think that I will ever read this book. So this one goes as well.

Sounds very intriguing. So it stays!

#15 – The Red Knight – Miles Cameron – Link to Goodreads

I don’t know about this one. For now I’ll just delete it from my shelves. I might give it another try however.

This book sounds very promising but I’m not really sure.

I’m a huge Hamilton fan so this has to stay!!!

This sounds really interesting and I will have to read it someday!

This is one of my favourite authors so it stays.

I know that I have to read more classics. But I just don’t know with this one.
