Hello everyone! It’s been a long time since I did a TAG, so I just had to jump at the opportunity when I saw this tag over at Words about Words.

Without further ado, let’s start with the questions!

🏷️ #1 – A book that a certain friend is always telling you to read

There are a lot of books that I could put on that list, lol. The Summer I Turned Pretty is on that list, and I’ve been told multiple times by a certain person that I should read it, especially now since the TV show came out.

🏷️ #2 – A book that’s been on your TBR forever, and you still haven’t read the hell out of it

I’m so scared of this question because there are way too many books on my TBR and now I actually had to take a look at the real number *hides under the bed because she doesn’t want to acknowledge the number*. One book on my TBR that’s been there since 2017 is The Bone Season series by Samantha Shannon. I’m so sorry that I still haven’t read that one.

🏷️ #3 – A book in a series you started but haven’t finished

I have no idea what’s wrong with me! I loved Onyx & Ivory by Mindee Arnett, but for the love of God I’ve never managed to pick up the second book (Shadow & Flame) in that series, duology. Why?!! I need to remedy on that but until I grab myself a copy of it, it will stay on the wishlist.

🏷️ #4 – A classic you have always liked the sound of but never really started

Oh my, there are a lot of those, but I’ve always had my eyes set on Little Women by Louisa May Alcott. I’m just too scared to read it.

🏷️ #5 – A popular book that it seems everyone but you have read

Definitely Legendborn by Tracy Deonn. It feels like everyone is talking about it and still I have NOT read it.

🏷️ #6 – A book that inspired a film/TV adaptation that you really love, but you just haven’t read it yet

The Alienist by Caleb Carr. I adored the TV adaptation and also started reading book 1, but I never managed to finish it. Maybe now is the time?

🏷️ #7 – A book you see all over Instagram but haven’t picked up yet

We are already at the last question! A book I’m seeing all over Instagram and haven’t read yet is It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover. I probably will never understand the hype around this author and have stopped reading her books for a while because I feel like some of her books are just problematic. Nevertheless, I’m willing to give her another chance, and maybe I’ll read “It Ends With Us” soon.
