Hello everyone! Today I have a whole yearly wrap-up planned for you, and it’s going to be a lot. According to goodreads I’ve read about 60 books.
And now, without further ado, let’s do this!

We all know that I’m a lazy person. Which is why I let goodreads do my job. What I mean by that is that I took all screenshots from the yearly recap with the statistics and so on, and I’m showing you the books I’ve read through these screenshots.

2022 was a difficult reading year for me. I had so many problems reading. I was constantly tired (still am) and after work I honestly just wanted to go to bed. Which is also one of the reasons why I’ve been so silent on here.
However, after looking at these stats, I’m positively surprised to see that I still managed to get some reading done. I mean, I’ve accomplished my goal and I even surpassed it by having read 61 books and more than 18K pages. I’m glad that I started tracking my reading in 2017 because at the end of each year I’m able to see how much I’ve managed to read, especially if I thought the complete opposite happened.

Let’s ignore the fact that I forgot to redo this screenshot and have a look at my shortest and longest books read in 2022. I love the fact that I enjoyed both of these reads, and this is already such a success. I loved “We should all be feminists” (which I listened to the audiobook to) so much that I got it as a Christmas gift from my sister-in-law. Now I finally have a physical copy of it. Who knows maybe I will read it again this year.
I’ve also read shorter books in 2022. I’m usually reading books that have around 500 pages (if my memory is correct) but as I mentioned before 2022 has been difficult reading wise and an average of 308 pages is still pretty amazing.

I guess that this is pretty self-explanatory. So I won’t be telling you much here.

I listened to the audiobook in November and early December and enjoyed my time. It might even be on my Top 10 of 2022. But this is definitely not a fun read, and you should definitely read the Trigger Warnings before picking this memoir up.

Unfortunately for you, my first goodreads review of 2022 was a German one. I hope you can forgive me for all the times I’ve posted or will post a review written in a foreign language.

And I finished my year with a book that I didn’t like. Unfortunately, this was an e-arc that was long overdue, and I still have to write my review. Let’s just say that I hate writing reviews for books that weren’t for me.
And now let’s move on to the actual list of books.

And that’s it. I won’t share my highlights with you because I will certainly not be able to put everything under a Top 10 List considering my average ratings.
Do we have any books in common? And what did you read in 2022? Please let me know in the comments below!

2022 was a difficult year for me too reading-wise, with all the reading slumps and funks. I was able to find my love of reading again sporadically throughout the year but it wasn’t until in December when the year was ending that I finally felt more like reading lol. I have a long list of e-ARCs to catch up on!
Good luck with your e-ARCs list! Let’s hope that 2023 will be a better reading year 🙂
Thank you! Mazel Tov! 🤞
