In “Things We Hide from the Light” we follow Nash & Lina after the events of “Things We Never Got Over” and things might get a little bit heated!

First I have to admit that I haven’t read the first book in this series, BUT I wasn’t lost whatsoever and managed to follow the story smoothly. I absolutely enjoyed the writing style of the author and liked the fact that the mystery kept the reading engaging.

In my personal opinion, the book could have definitely been shorter because some parts definitely dragged on too long. You should also be aware of the fact that the steamy parts take some while to appear, as I thought that those scenes would be present from the start, I’ve been a bit disappointed by their (very) late appearance.

Other than that, the humour was on point and I loved the interactions between our two main characters.

I adored all characters, especially the main characters from the first book, which means that I’ll have to read it ASAP.

Overall, “Things We Hide from Light” was a great read and I will continue reading the other parts of this series.
