Hello everyone and welcome back to the blog! How are you all doing?
Today is the publication day (yesterday March 30th) of The Ticklemore Tattler by Liz Davies and I have a review for you. (AN: The post was supposed to air on March 30th, but due to technical problems I’ve only managed to do so today.)
And now without further ado, let’s start with the post!

Sometimes you have to write your own future…
The life of former journalist Juliette Seymour has been quiet and unassuming. Up until now, she’s been concentrating on running the local newspaper and raising her daughter.
But all that is about to change when Juliette is informed that the Ticklemore Tattler is to fold and that she’ll be out of a job. She begins to wonder whether she can buy the newspaper and try to make a go of it herself.
Aware that she needs some advice she contacts Oliver Pascoe, little knowing that when her old colleague re-enters her life, his help isn’t the only thing she wants him for!
As she begins to fall in love, however, what she doesn’t realise is that Oliver has something he’s keeping from her.
A gorgeously uplifting story, perfect for fans of Holly Hepburn, Heidi Swain, and Isabelle Broom.

First of all, I haven’t read the previous book (The Ticklemore Christmas Toy Shop) and I didn’t have any problem following the story. So if you haven’t read the first book don’t worry, you can still read “The Ticklemore Tattler“.
TTT (because I’m lazy I am using an abbreviation of the title) was a heartwarming romance and I felt good after I’ve finished it. I read the book a while ago, and I still have a smile on my lips when I’m thinking of it. It is a typically spring/summer read that just makes you feel good. I don’t know if my description makes sense, but we all felt like that at some point, while reading chick lit. And unfortunately not all of these books made me feel good. This one did, so that was an amazing job. Thank you very much for making my day better!
I fell in love with the characters and I seriously want to read more of Juliette and Oliver and I will read the first book in the series as soon as I can! The writing style was also amazing, and I managed to read the book in a matter of hours. It was a well deserved break and an award after a whole month of finals. That’s probably also one of the reasons why I liked this book as much as I did and why I think that it’s one of these feel good books that you absolutely need to read.
Overall, TTT was a great book and had an uplifting and romantic storyline. If you want to take a break from the bad news and from your daily life, then it has to be on your radar!
