Hello everyone! Today we are going to talk about some reading challenges for the year 2023.

Goodreads & Storygraph Reading Schedule
I wanted to do something “doable” so this year I decided to read about 52 books. It’s honestly manageable for me, as I usually read over 50 books in a year.
Hodderscape Reading Challenge
Every Year I participate in this challenge and every time I fail terribly, lol! Maybe this is the year it all works out? Who knows!
For those of you that aren’t familiar with this challenge, it is quite easy. Every Month you are supposed to read a book in the Sci-Fi, Fantasy genre. The challenge prompts are listed on their website and on Storygraph. In case you’re interested in taking part in this reading challenge, feel free to have a look on Hodderscapes site.
Beat the Backlist 2023
Since I have a book blog I participate in this reading challenge so it is no surprise that 2023 is another year I participate in this challenge.
It is pretty easy. All you have to do is read a book published before 2023. To be able to count the book towards the challenge, you have to have started the book in 2023.

Choose your own adventure: Year in Aeldia
I never participated in the Magical Readathon posted by Bookroast just because of Time Issues. But I think that this year I will participate in it. She is always so thoughtful when she hosts these Challenges that I just want to give it a try. Here’s the video.
And these are all the challenges I plan on doing this year. What about you? Are you planning on participating in any of these? Please let me know in the comments below!

I just stick to Goodreads – mostly as a way to get me out of reading slumps, you know?
Yeah, I get what you mean. Goodreads is pretty helpful too by telling you how much you need to read to stay on schedule. It definitely motivates me to stay on schedule.
