Hello everyone! I tried these “Currently Reading” Posts a while ago instead of monthly TBRs but to be honest it just wasn’t my thing. So here we are returning with monthly TBRs and Wrap-Ups. Let’s hope that my Procrastination won’t interfere again this year, lol!
I’ve also created a new bookstagram page and deleted the old one. So in case you want to follow me there here is the new link. There are only 2 pictures there for now because I’m starting from scratch but don’t worry I’ll post more content soon ๐

Books I’m currently reading

๐#1 – WitchWatch Volume 1 by Kenta Shinohara | Manga
๐#2 – The Atlas Six #1 by Olivie Blake | Adult Fantasy, Dark Academia

The Alexandrian Society is a secret society of magical academicians, the best in the world. Their members are caretakers of lost knowledge from the greatest civilizations of antiquity. And those who earn a place among their number will secure a life of wealth, power, and prestige beyond their wildest dreams. Each decade, the worldโs six most uniquely talented magicians are selected for initiation โ and here are the chosen few…
– Libby Rhodes and Nicolรกs Ferrer de Varona: inseparable enemies, cosmologists who can control matter with their minds.
– Reina Mori: a naturalist who can speak the language of life itself.
– Parisa Kamali: a mind reader whose powers of seduction are unmatched.
– Tristan Caine: the son of a crime kingpin who can see the secrets of the universe.
– Callum Nova: an insanely rich pretty boy who could bring about the end of the world. He need only ask.
When the candidates are recruited by the mysterious Atlas Blakely, they are told they must spend one year together to qualify for initiation. During this time, they will be permitted access to the Societyโs archives and judged on their contributions to arcane areas of knowledge. Five, they are told, will be initiated. One will be eliminated. If they can prove themselves to be the best, they will survive. Most of them.
๐#3 – Obsidio by Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff | The Illuminae Files #3 | Young Adult Science Fiction, Fantasy

Kady, Ezra, Hanna and Nik narrowly escaped with their lives from the attacks on Heimdall station and now find themselves crammed with 2,000 refugees on the container ship, Mao. With the jump station destroyed and their resources scarce, the only option is to return to Kerenza–but who knows what they’ll find seven months after the invasion?
Meanwhile, Kady’s cousin, Asha, survived the initial BeiTech assault and has joined Kerenza’s ragtag underground resistance. When Rhys–an old flame from Asha’s past–reappears on Kerenza, the two find themselves on opposite sides of the conflict. With time running out, a final battle will be waged on land and in space, heroes will fall, and hearts will be broken.

๐#4 – Automn 2 Volume 1 by Byllie September | Young Adult Contemporary, French author
๐#5 – Beyond the Wand by Tom Felton | Non Fiction, Autobiography

They called for a break, and Gambon magicked up a cigarette from out of his beard. He and I were often to be found outside the stage that housed the Astronomy Tower, having ‘a breath of fresh air’ as we referred to it. There would be painters and plasterers and chippies and sparks, and among them all would be me and Dumbledore having a crafty cigarette.
From Borrower to wizard, Tom Felton’s childhood was anything but ordinary. His early rise to fame saw him catapulted into the limelight aged just twelve when he landed the iconic role of Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter films.
Speaking with candour and his own trademark humour, Tom shares his experience of growing up on screen and as part of the wizarding world for the very first time. He tells all about his big break, what filming was really like and the lasting friendships he made during ten years with the franchise, as well as the highs and lows of fame and the reality of navigating adult life after filming finished.
Prepare to meet a real-life wizard.
