Hello everyone! After a long time, I have finally a review for you that isn’t an arc review. Reviews aren’t my comfort zone and I know that’s strange coming from a book blogger but I’m always anxious writing these. I don’t even know why, lol. Please tell me I’m not the only one.

about the book

The case is closed. Five years ago, schoolgirl Andie Bell was murdered by Sal Singh. The police know he did it. Everyone in town knows he did it.
But having grown up in the same small town that was consumed by the murder, Pippa Fitz-Amobi isn’t so sure. When she chooses the case as the topic for her final year project, she starts to uncover secrets that someone in town desperately wants to stay hidden. And if the real killer is still out there, how far will they go to keep Pip from the truth?

Review
Pippa Fitz-Amobi also known as Pip is obsessed with everything True-Crime related. Especially with a crime that happened right in her town. A schoolgirl that was murdered five years ago. Pip however thinks that they accused the wrong person and she wants to find out the truth, but at what cost?
I’ve read this one in August and I’m still shocked. I seriously don’t know what to say about this book other than to cover it in praise. This is what I’m talking about when I say that a mystery thriller has to have you on edge. I read this one in one sitting and oh my what a rollercoaster it has been. I just couldn’t get enough of it and am literally obsessed with this series. Holly Jackson managed to suck me right into the story, and thank you for that!
The pacing of this book is fast, you have amazing illustrations in the book that make the reading even more interactive, and I LOVED that.
The characters that you should love are adorable, and Pip is by far my fave. I loved investigating next to her while reading “A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder” and was shocked when I found out the truth about the case, of Andie Bell.
This might be a Young Adult book but I assure you that you can also fully enjoy it as an adult. It will also have you at the edge of your seat. I promise you that!

Awww when writing a review you just gotta draft your opinion without giving any spoilers. I did a post once on a how-to review. 👍 you did pretty well with this one. 👍
Thank you! It’s always so difficult to avoid spoilers because you never know which information is too much.
