Hello everyone! Today is the time to release the review of the second instalment in the “A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder” series.

About the book

Pip is not a detective anymore.

With the help of Ravi Singh, she released a true-crime podcast about the murder case they solved together last year. The podcast has gone viral, yet Pip insists her investigating days are behind her.

But she will have to break that promise when someone she knows goes missing. Jamie Reynolds has disappeared, on the very same night the town hosted a memorial for the sixth-year anniversary of the deaths of Andie Bell and Sal Singh.

The police won’t do anything about it. And if they won’t look for Jamie then Pip will, uncovering more of her town’s dark secrets along the way… and this time everyone is listening. But will she find him before it’s too late?

Review

Pip is done with the detective work and she certainly doesn’t want to hear anything about her detective days. Now with the help of Ravi she published her true-crime podcast which becomes very popular. Pip has a though choice to make because someone she knows has gone missing and might need to investigate again. Because the police are no big help.

And again another masterpiece by Jackson! I already loved the first book in this series, but oh boy the second one was even better! Like in the first review, I won’t stop praising this book because it was that good. I loved reading more about Pip’s life, especially after the aftermath of book one, and can I say how much I’m in love with Ravi? He’s definitely the best.

There were lots of twists and I just had to read this one in one sitting. It wasn’t even possible otherwise. From the first page on, I was immersed in the story and I couldn’t stop turning these pages.

If you want to read a great young adult mystery novel/series, you should definitely pick up the “A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder” series. I promise you, you won’t be disappointed.
