Hello everyone. I believe that this is the very first real post on the new blog since I’ve done the rebranding so: Welcome to “Phannie the bookish dragon“!

Today we’ll talk about 5 of my favorite reading spots or at least about 5 comfortable reading spots because let’s be honest I’m always reading in the same spot. Even though I’d love to change from time to time but sometimes habits die hard, right?

โ€งโ‚Šหš๐Ÿ“šโœฉ โ‚Šหš๐ŸŽงโŠนโ™ก #1 – Couch

My number 1 favorite spot has to be my couch. It is the spot where I’m reading the most and to be honest even though I’m not entirely satisfied with my couch it is my favorite place to be. Probably because I have the TV just in front and I always like to read with some background noise, especially Booktube.

โ€งโ‚Šหš๐Ÿ“šโœฉ โ‚Šหš๐ŸŽงโŠนโ™ก #2 – Bookcorner

I have a small room just for my books at home and there’s also a desk of course, if I have to work remotely from home (which hasn’t happened yet so I’m still calling it my very own book corner). And from time to time I also like to read in my book corner, where I can be surrounded by books. I’ve rearranged it with a lot of bookish accessories and the room is kinda cute.

Unfortunately it’s always very hot in this room, and as it’s a smaller room than the living room, I just prefer to read downstairs. I’m also claustrophobic, so this probably explains why I’m not often in that room. I just don’t really like closed spaces that much. It’s also the room where I take my bookstagram pictures.

โ€งโ‚Šหš๐Ÿ“šโœฉ โ‚Šหš๐ŸŽงโŠนโ™ก #3 – Outside

If you are a person who likes to be outside, then reading in a park, in your garden, on the beach, or some other place is probably your go-to. And I’m so jealous because I’d love to be the same. I only read outside when we’re on vacation because I’m always the victim when it comes to insect bites. That’s why I just have to read somewhere with a roof on top and some walls, lol. But I always love it when I can read all day on the beach during vacation, for example. It just feels very nice and comfortable. Never forget to put on sun protection. Otherwise, your time outside will not be very enjoyable.

โ€งโ‚Šหš๐Ÿ“šโœฉ โ‚Šหš๐ŸŽงโŠนโ™ก #4 – Public Transport

When I was still taking public transport to go to uni or work, I always enjoyed reading on the train or listening to an audiobook on the bus. Another benefit of reading on public transport is that time flies, especially during long commutes.

โ‚Šหš๐Ÿ“šโœฉ โ‚Šหš๐ŸŽงโŠนโ™ก #5 – Bed

Last but not least comes the bed. I don’t read often in bed because once I’m in bed it means that I’m so exhausted that I will fall asleep rapidly. However it is such a comfortable space and whenever I’m sick, reading in my bed is definitely something I’d consider doing.
